MORE THAN A PHOTOGRAPHER

Fally Coburn is an award-winning journalist with a career spanning nearly three decades in media. She has worked extensively in radio, television, newspapers, magazines, and more.

Fally’s work has been featured in magazines, newspapers, and television stations across Kansas. She has received several Kansas Association of Broadcasters awards as well as an Edward R. Murrow award for her online work in journalism. Fally is also a two-time recipient of the Rocket Grant Award, which helped develop live music and cultural events for her community. In 2015, a video she made detailing one second of her life every day gained national attention after it was featured on BuzzFeed and The Huffington Post. You can watch that video below.

Currently, she resides in Lawrence, Kansas, where she focuses on live events and photographs for various media entities and tourism boards.

For 10 years in a row, I have recorded every single day of my life using a GoPro. This is the video for 2024, the 11th year in the "Just A Sec" series. I create these videos by pulling one second from each day to highlight my work in the music industry, my relationship with my family, and overall life in the vibrant (and very eccentric) community of Lawrence, Kansas.
